【Wealth Succession】Canadian Immigration Express Entry Stream Opened Nova Scotia Provincial Nomination on May 8

Starting from May 8, there are more choices for people who are applying for Canadian immigration through the Express Entry. Two classes of the provincial nomination of Nova Scotia joined the Express Entry stream.

Class B of the provincial nomination of Nova Scotia was once closed after opening due to technical problems. The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Offices have confirmed that once the technical problems are resolved, applications can continue to be submitted.

Successful applicants will receive 600 extra points and are invited to apply for permanent residents of Canada.

The provincial nomination of Nova Scotia is divided into two classes: Class A requires work experience and full-time job invitations. The 16 occupations of Class B only require work experience. Job invitations are not needed. There are 250 slots in Class B, and Class B newly added eight occupations, including administrative assistant, accounting staff, computer network technician, etc.

The requirements of the Class B provincial nomination (job invitation letters are not needed) are as follows:

  1. Registered at Express Entry
  2. Foreign education has been assessed to be consistent with Canadian diploma
  3. English or French at least reached intermediate levels
  4. At least reached 67 points in Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry points grid
  5. Over the past 6 years with at least 1 year of full-time work experience in this class

The 16 occupations in Class B are financial auditor, accountant; other financial officers; advertising, marketing, public relations professionals; administrative assistant; accounting and related staff; engineer; information systems analyst,
