Mauritius's 2025–2026 Budget statement announces that all Mauritian companies and foundations must obtain a written and signed declaration from their beneficial owners or ultimate beneficial owner to confirm their ownership status. Companies already existing before the obligation comes into force must comply by 30 June 2026, and beneficial owners must notify the company of any changes in status.
