【Wealth Succession】CANADA: Legislation published for mandatory disclosure of tax planning

Department of Finance Canada has published draft legislation to implement the provisions announced in the April 2021 budget requiring disclosure of 'notifiable' tax planning arrangements and tightening the beneficial ownership reporting requirements for trusts. Comments on the proposals are due by 5 April 2022.
