In November, the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland confirmed the conviction of a Swiss asset manager for personally handing the US authorities a memory stick containing data on 109 of his Zurich-based firm's former American clients (Decision 6B_216/2020). The court ruled this amounted to a forbidden act on behalf of a foreign state and has upheld a CHF10,000 fine imposed on him.
