【Wealth Succession】UK: Investor visa scheme to close

The UK government has announced the closure of its Tier 1 (Investor) visa route with immediate effect, citing concerns that it gives 'opportunities for corrupt elites' to stay in the country. The government notes that ‘Settlement will now be conditional on applicants executing an investment strategy that can show genuine job creation and other tangible economic impacts.’
