【Wealth Succession】DIGITAL ASSETS: Treasury and Bank of England investigate digital currency

HM Treasury and the Bank of England have formed a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) Taskforce to coordinate the exploration of a potential UK CBDC, a new form of money that would exist alongside cash and bank deposits. No decision has yet been made on whether to introduce a CBDC in the UK.
