【Wealth Succession】SWISS BANKING: Wealthy UBS clients to be charged interest on deposits

Clients of the Swiss bank UBS will be charged 0.75 per cent interest on current account deposits above CHF2 million from this November. The policy is to compensate the bank for the negative interests being imposed on banks by the Swiss National Bank. Credit Suisse says it is considering a similar move.
