Japan has confirmed that its tax treaty with Iceland has now completed all the necessary steps to come into force from 31 October.
At the same time, the Japanese government has said that treaties with Australia, Slovakia, and France have all been modified in line with the OECD Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS), ratified by all four countries.
